Rebranded and repositioned Clarity to be the leading craft hard seltzer alternative made by the country's first certified organic brewer.

Created by Eel River Brewing, Clarity was born around the same time as the hard seltzer category. ERB saw it as a way to expand their consumer based by providing something that kept to their brand ethos: a clean beverage with only the best ingredients. Made of 3 simple ingredients Clarity came on the scene but needed to find it’s voice and stand out in a crowded industry. 

Situational Analysis

Clarity Hard Sparkling Water is 5% ABV, made with 3 ingredients, and produced by the country’s first certified organic brewery. 

Key Issues

Although the hard seltzer category has grown quickly, Clarity had a hard time competing against the larger names in the space. 


Leverage the clean, 3 ingredients, and Eel River Brewery equity to connect with consumer looking for a craft alternative to the hard seltzer space, then apply that to packaging, sales, and marketing materials. 

Brand and Creative: Communicated in a clean, healthy-living, community-oriented manner.

Website: Designed and built mobile first, the site is meant to educate consumers on what the product/category can offer and keep users engaged through animations for all devices.

Packaging: Used white with pops of color to differentiate on shelf and create mirage impact when all together as we played off the water droplet.
